I am interested in how we read and manipulate materials at the periphery of our daily lives. Working with subjects that would otherwise be discarded or consumed my work centres around the notion of ‘indirect communication’ revealing hidden or possible images from an unconventional source.

In my work I adapt domestic materials utlising their found state as a starting point. These acts of ‘intimate economy’ aim to provide an unexpected legitimacy or improved purpose.
